The Video Service Forum for the first time ever in Europe... at b<>com's campus

For the first time since it was created in 1997, and at the invitation of b<>com, the VSF (Video Services Forum) has decided to hold its May Meeting in Europe.

On May 11 and 12, the Institute of Research and Technology will host the leading members of the VSF at its campus for a series of presentations and technical conferences. Also on the agenda are a few technological demonstrations of solutions developed by b<>com's teams in the field of hypermedia and connected healthcare.

Why VSF is crossing the Atlantic

The organizers' intent is to get closer to European VSF members in order to share experiences between professionals facing global issues and to facilitate access to new potential members.

Although dedicated to VSF members, the organisation is willing to welcome broadcast/telecom companies. It is with a unique opportunity to meet and share with international experts. b<>com invites you to participate to the meeting on May 11th and 12th. Warning : compulsory registration on VSF website and limited number of seats!

The Call for Publications is also available on the VSF website. You are invited to submit your presentation proposals to philippe.lemonnier@b-com.com for coordination with VSF.

In brief, the Video Services Forum (VSF) was created in the United States in 1997 to ensure uniform audio/video service to the Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOCs), branches and subsidiaries of the historical American operator Bell. With a strong presence in North America (US and Canada), in 20 years this organization has become an essential step for technologies related to audio/video broadcasting.
