The partnership agreement launched between b<>com and MICA in January follows a first visit made by b<>com in Hanoi in 2013. During this visit, several complementary points were accounted between the two institutes, some of which in the e-health field.
Indeed, e-health was the core topic of the first discussion between the new partners, the objective being to understand better the work of their respective labs. Nevertheless, some other possible topics are being studied in the hypermedia field.
As a matter of fact, MICA’s researchs fields are organized between 3 departments : « Speech Communication », « Computer Vision » and « Pervasive Spaces & Interaction ».
The cooperation could also materialize itself with the exchange of interns between Vietnam and France, since the MICA research institute gathers lots of students within its Master program named ACMI (Ambient Computing Multimedia & Interaction).
