Bertrand Guilbaud, CEO of the Institute of Research and Technology (IRT) since 2012, is stepping down to focus on leading the creation of a spin-off, a publisher of 5G and beyond software solutions for private enterprise networks. As of today, Emmanuelle Garnaud-Gamache will take over as Interim CEO of b<>com.
"The creation of this spin-off, focused on one of b<>com's areas of excellence, marks a major step in the xG sovereign ambition initiated at the end of 2020," explains Vincent Marcatté, Chairman of the Board at b<>com. “This new company, which is the most ambitious spin-off from an IRT to date, is poised to play a key role in French and European digital sovereignty. We wanted Bertrand to devote himself fully to this new project to bring it to fruition, as he has done for b<>com. And we have every confidence that Emmanuelle will uphold excellence at the IRT. ”
