Neither science fiction nor prediction, foresight strategy is the creation and use of future-oriented approaches to guide present actions. It expedites the ecological and digital transitions while strengthening organizational resilience
Our Vision
Technology nowadays only makes sense if it provides solutions to tomorrow's major societal challenges. b<>com's primary objective is to innovate for the common good.
Yes, innovation is key, but not at any cost: our aim is to be a leader in reconciling research, ethical innovation, and sustainable development. Our innovation strategy focuses on new practices and sustainability.
Our Approach
Foresight and scenario planning form the backbone of our innovation strategy. Neither science fiction nor prediction, foresight strategy is the creation and use of future-oriented approaches to guide present actions. It expedites the ecological and digital transitions while strengthening organizational resilience.
To embody this vision, b<>com has a dedicated foresight strategy unit. As part of an interdisciplinary research endeavor, we have partnered with Imprudence, a design fiction studio creating future scenarios through research, artifacts, and experiences, to demonstrate that multiple desirable futures are possible.
Achievements
The continually evolving <x>perience zone now invites you to explore the results of one of our interdisciplinary foresight research projects. It combines expertise in humanities, social sciences, design, and engineering with academic and industrial partners such as the University of Rennes 1, Rennes School of Business, IMT Atlantique, and Orange.
Our team of researchers, including sociologists, psychologists, lawyers, and xxx, investigate the environmental and social challenges associated with digital technology as we look forward to 2040.
