EuCNC 2022: b<>com puts 5G and AR in the spotlight

EuCNC

From June 7 to 10, b<>com will be at the EuCNC & 6G 2022 summit, booth 44, to present the European projects: 5G Tours and ARTwin.

The 2022 EuCNC & 6G Summit, which will take place in Grenoble, builds on putting together two successful conferences in the area of telecommunications: EuCNC (European Conference on Networks and Communications), supported by the European Commission, and the 6G Summit, originated from the 6G Flagship program in Finland, one of the very first in its area. The conference is sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society and by the European Association for Signal Processing and focuses on all aspects of telecommunications ranging from 5G deployment and mobile IoT to 6G exploration and future communications systems and networks, including experimentation and testbeds, and applications and services.

b<>com teams will present two European projects they are involved in – booth 44 :

5G Tours: the European project 5G-TOURS consists in improving the life in the city for the citizens and tourists, including their safety through 5G technology by providing means to better assist health-related care in all the phases of an incident, ranging from the health monitoring for prevention and early detection, to diagnosis and intervention at the ambulance, and surgery at the wireless operation room in the hospital. Also, 5G enables monitoring and remote assistance to tourists from their home country.

ARTwin: the European project ARtwin is set on providing the European Industry and Construction 4.0 ecosystem with a sovereign ARCloud platform that meets their ever-growing needs for increased productivity, improved product quality as well as reduced time and cost.

Moreover, Jerome Royan, Principal Architect at b<>com, will present a scientific paper entitled "AR Cloud: Moving to Large Scale Augmented Reality in Industrial Environments by Leveraging of 5G Connectivity" in a special session that will explore the potential benefits of applying Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality to network and service management in Industry 4.0 environments.
