b<>com bets on IoT in Barcelona!

MWC Mobile World Congress Barcelona

For the second year running, b<>com will be exhibitor from February 26 to March 1 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. MWC is the world’s biggest mobile technology show and welcomes over 90,000 technology industry experts, analysts and journalists every year.

If the MWC surely stands for a gigantic showcase for upcoming smartphones, it is also the stage where future infrastructures, connectivity standards, test equipments and new applications will be demonstrated.

This year, b<>com’s teams will present two exclusive demos in Hall 7, booth H12:

b<>com *Wireless Library*, [LPWASDR Platform]: A multi-standard (LoRa, Sigfox, NB-IoT, etc.) SDR (software defined radio) baseband module for LPWA networks used to communicate with IoT devices. The solution can be integrated into IoT base stations for data collection purposes.

b<>com *Wireless Edge Factory*: A 5G ready private connectivity solution for indoor wireless coverage. One possibility is to employ the solution on-the-fly aboard a vehicle. The technology also adheres to the concepts defined by the 3GPP for 5G.

Partner booth:

Presented at the Orange booth (Hall 3, Booth D10), the "Cockpit" demo will show off the on-demand deployment capabilities of network functions for 5G, particularly for the b<>com *Wireless Edge Factory* technology.
