Amine graduated from the École Nationale Polytechnique d'Alger in 2011 with a degree in electrical engineering. He obtained a Master of Science in advanced image processing from the University of Pierre Marie Curie and Télécom ParisTech in 2012. From 2013 to 2016, he completed his PhD on automatic gaze estimation at the Immersive Interactions laboratory at b<>com, at Centrale Supélec in Rennes.

From 2016 to 2019, Amine worked mainly on research topics related to object and camera pose estimation using traditional computer vision algorithms and modern machine learning approaches. In 2019, he joined the Artificial Intelligence department as an expert in discriminative and generative deep machine learning techniques applied to image and scene understanding and synthesis. In 2023, he joined the Image & Vision team to work on research topics related to modern graphical representations (NERF and 3D Gaussian Splattint). In 2025, he became Head of the Image & Vision activity.
