Two new companies, OCTO Technology and InSimo, join b<>com's innovation circle.

INSIMO OCTO TECHNOLOGY

b<>com is implementing its roadmap and accelerating its opening up to SMEs with the arrival of two new investor members in its innovation circle: OCTO Technology and InSimo. This dynamic, which began several months ago, illustrates the relevance of the IRT model and its commitment to serving innovation in companies and industries of all sizes.

A consulting firm specialising in new technologies and digital transformation issues, OCTO Technology is recognised for its technological expertise (architecture, cloud, AI, data, product management, UX, etc.) and its innovative organisational methods. The SME is joining forces with b<>com and its partners on a research project aimed at strengthening organisations' collective intelligence, their ability to anticipate change, and their sustainable transformation.

"OCTO Technology has chosen to join b<>com to strengthen its R&D activities in the field of sustainable and responsible innovation. In particular, we aim to continue the discussions that emerged in the Frugarilla collective regarding the ecological redirection of digital technology. These are some of the themes that the project is exploring: sustainable innovation, the ecological redirection of digital technology, de-innovation, and a de-digitisation protocol," explains Alexis Nicolas, consultant researcher in digital redirection at OCTO Technology.

Another new IRT member-investor, SME InSimo designs simulators for learning surgical and medical procedures, as well as training in surgical planning. It will collaborate with the IRT and, in particular, Keyros Medica—another SME that recently joined b<>com's innovation circle—on a project aimed at democratizing the use of immersive technologies within companies and industries by removing several technological barriers. The collaboration aims to enable the visualization of work environments from different angles and real-time interaction, opening up new perspectives in sectors such as medical and industrial training.

"I am enthusiastic and eager to see the first results of this project emerge. It embodies the realisation of an industrial vision shared by b<>com and Keyros Medica for the years to come," emphasises Pierre-Jean Bensoussan, CEO and co-founder of InSimo.

"IRTs are a powerful lever for facilitating access to innovation while reducing investment risk. It is very satisfying to see the generated momentum and to make the expertise of b<>com and its members available to all companies, including SMEs and mid-cap companies, which are key players in the economy. We are working to build concrete bridges between manufacturers, and the leverage they enjoy enables them to go further, faster," explains Emmanuelle Garnaud-Gamache, Managing Director of IRT b<>com.
