Thierry Lucidarme

• Career

Thierry holds an ENSEIRB engineering degree, a microelectronics DEA, and a patents CEIPI diploma.
He began his professional career at SNECMA (now Safran), working on R&D projects for aircraft and launchers in radiocommunications.

In 1995, he joined Nortel to contribute to developing three generations of cellular telephony: 2G, 3G and 4G. He then specialized in Industrial Property (IP) to meet the group's standardization and value enhancement challenges. In 2008, he returned to Compagnie des Signaux as Product Development Manager, then to Thales, where he worked on communication satellites and defense electronics. Mid-2011, he used his dual R&D and IP skills to meet Technicolor's organizational needs. In 2015, he led the development of the EDF Group's IP within the Industrial Property and Partnerships Delegation, which he headed from 2017 to 2021.
Most recently, Thierry was Vice President at ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) in charge of technology strategy and management of the group's portfolio of innovative projects and patents around decarbonization.

He is passionate about technology, radio communications, and innovation, so he authorizes several books on these subjects.
