Patrick Savelli

• Professional background

Patrick graduated as an engineer from Télécom Paris (1997). He has over 28 years of experience in R&D in wireless radio technologies, 2G to 5G cellular networks, and IoT. His expertise covers product definition, algorithm research and design, system architecture, data processing, modeling and optimization, software development, and project and team management.

He began his career at Alcatel Mobile Phone as a radio systems and standardization engineer, then moved on to Mitsubishi Electric as an RF engineer. He then joined Renesas Mobile, where he held successive positions as L1/DSP software engineer, Program/Technology Manager, and Principal Architect on 2G/3G/4G modem platforms and chipsets.

He then joined Abeeway, a startup specializing in geolocation and IoT, as Principal Architect and Data Scientist, where he designed the data architecture and value-added services around LoRa sensors.

Patrick joined b<>com in 2016 and is currently responsible for Connectivity activities and strategy. He oversees and defines the strategic roadmap for work related to 5G and its developments. An author of publications and inventor of several patents, he has solid skills in setting up and managing complex projects.
