Hamidreza Khaleghi

• Career

A graduate of Télécom Bretagne (now IMT Atlantique) with a PhD in telecommunications optics from the University of Western Brittany, Hamidreza also studied at Sharif University of Technology, an engineering university in Iran.

He began his career in 1999 in R&D in the field of satellite communications, then continued his work on optical systems before broadening his expertise to IoT and next-generation networks (5G/6G). For several years, he has been focusing on artificial intelligence applied to communications and industry.

Hamidreza joined b<>com in 2021 as a Senior R&D Engineer working on 5G and AI technologies. In 2025, he took charge of the AI/Algorithms division. He leads innovation projects that combine advanced AI, next-generation wireless communications, and industrial applications (predictive maintenance, e-health, operational intelligence). The inventor of several patents and author of scientific publications, he actively mentors researchers and helps structure the institute's AI strategy.
