After graduating with a degree in economic sciences from University of Paris 2, he earned an MBA from the University of Quebec in Montreal, then a PhD in Strategy from HEC Montreal with a thesis on transatlantic partnerships. He then completed a postdoc at the Société Générale de financement du Québec on the subject of managing a portfolio of alliances.
After working for JP Morgan in Paris, he began his academic career at HEC Montreal, then, at Central European University and at the Rennes School of Business since 2010.
Before being named Interim CEO in June 2017, he held the position of Associate Dean for “Entreprises & Territoires” in charge of ongoing education, business partnerships, career services, alumni networks, and certain institutional projects like the incubator Innostart. He is also a member of the scientific committee of the collaborative network Consortium Innovation in Montreal and the Valorial cluster’s label committee.
